The implant that I had inserted about three years ago broke . . . the tooth area split. Modestow dentistry stood behind the work, reworked the tooth replacing the broken part with no argument. The work has not been completed as the tooth has been submitted for restoration. I had a tooth prepped for a crown and a tooth cavity fixed. I felt having both sides of my mouth numb was quite uncomfortable. The doctor was a little rough, pushing and pulling. Today my jaw is hurting, the temporary crown. Feels like I have something stuck it it. Today I came in with the understanding that I would get a teeth cleaning and an informal review of my dental situation from Dr. Modestow as to whether additional dental work was needed prior to my hip surgery. However, when I got in the chair, I was told for the first time that they needed to take 5-year dental X-Rays for this visit. I had had my 5-year dental X-Rays taken at my old dentist in Cambridge about one year ago.
