I have been a patient with you guys for years and even started bringing my oldest daughter as well. Apparently the call center that schedules appointment or the actual store location I called in Plant City scheduled me for an office in Riverview even though I literally said I moved to Plant City and wanted to visit the location by me. It was real cool wasting my day and time and gas to get there and find out that someone can't understand words and scheduled me 35 miles from my home.
I called the Lake Square store to get my prescription. Short story is I had to call back 3 times because the phone service was bad, the woman on the phone disconnected my call, she said she would email the script to me and all I received was my benefits information. Each time I called I spoke with someone different and had to go through the whole conversation again. My wife and I both had exams the same day. Doctor had both prescriptions wrong and the wife was over charged for the wrong type of contacts. we went back in for a recheck and that Doctor was professional and corrected the prescriptions. still waiting for initial shipment to arrive to be returned for the proper prescriptions. Called customer service to discuss this issue and was told a representative would return my call today. No call received, very dissatisfied.
You never receive your glasses. You pay 100’s of dollars and your glasses never come in.
I ordered glasses for my daughter, Arielle, on 2/10/2021 and asked for them to be shipped to my home, as my she is at high risk for COVID. It’s 3/8/2021 and we still don’t have them. I have called repeatedly, but their phone line either rings endlessly or it is busy. Arielle, with her home health aid went to the Kissimmee office to see what happened and the staff claimed there were too many people with the same name to check. I went to the Oviedo optical outlets in the mall. Let me count the ways the store could improve. The optician felt that it was much more important to open the mail for 15 minutes then to wait on two elderly customers, myself being one of those. The other lady complained after watching the young lady open mail for five minutes and was promptly told that she would be with her in a moment. I would not recommend anyone of color to go to 803 Cortez Rd West, Bradenton Fl 34207. The nurse manager MICHELLE treated me like a speailized child and violated my HIPPA rights by , blurting out loud that my vision was bad. Sebring Fl Had to have a lens repaired as the transition film bubbled on the lens. Told me it would be 2 weeks cause they had to send them in. I called today to inquire if they had come in and was told they were shipped to my house. Upon checking USPS I discovered they were shipped from the Sebring location. Really?I could have picked them up but was told because of Covid...blah blah. Ridiculous! I can go in and buy them but not come in to pick up???
This has to be the worse eyewear store in FL! We have put up with them for years due to insurance but I am DONE. Ordered and paid for contacts in June and here we are in August and no contacts only empty lies and rude treatment. Save yourself and your eyes DO NOT GO Here. Dr Jacoby and his staff treat patients like the quacks they are-with no respect ir care.
