EXTREMELY RUDE staff (his parents work at the office and they are CHEAP and VERY NASTY!), the office does not look very sterile or clean, and the wait is LOOOOONG! If the Dr. himself is even good, no one would have the chance to really notice it, for all his arrogance and with all the other negatives added to that!! Not going back ever and will make sure I let my friends and family know about this horrible experience!!!!!!!!
Dr's parents & other staff members are RUDE, unprofessional, disorganized, & unknowledgable. Waiting room & exam rooms are DISGUSTING. You will wait OVER AN HOUR to be seen by the dr. Dr will want to biopsy every mark you have on your body! Don't let him! Files get misplaced & confused with other patients'. Dr will scare patients just to get them back in the office, e.g. inaccurately & unethically diagnose you with MELANOMA! Dr & his staff have a horrible reputation in the dermatology field. WORST DR I'VE EVER SEEN!
The other posters on this site aren't kidding. Gary's ok as far as it goes, but the waiting room is a horrorshow run by nasty idiots. AVOID. When I told him directly what I said above, he said "well, I can't babysit those people out there." Maybe he shouldn't hire babies and spend the mucho money he's making (2 offices!) and spend it on a decent staff. JUST PLAIN SAD.
the waiting room was packed, and that did not bode well. doctor didn't see me until 1 1/2 hours past my appointment. he spent about 5 minutes looking at my moles and told me at least 10 of them had to be biopsied, but that i would need to come back for that. when i came back for my second appointment, his staff rudely told me that they were not accepting my insurance anymore. no phone call, no letter, nothing. they just waited until i took the day off work to make my appointment. then, they billed me for my first appointment... read more
Waited over an hour on first visit. Staff, particularly his parents that work there, is incredibly rude. Doctor spent less than 5 minutes with us. Rushed through prescribing meds. Gave me needed information only after I asked. Second visit wait was over half-hour. Examining room smelled awful and garbage was visibly overflowing from two trash cans. Doctor very rude and not comfortable answering patient questions. The second visit is our LAST visit. I do NOT recommend this guy!!!!
Horrible, Horrible experience. I had some beauty spots removed and now I have huge holes in my back, and they weren't even big spots. No one explained what they were doing and how to take care when I got home. Staff was extremely rude and wait was over 2 hours for a 15 minute procedure. Never will I go here again and I will warn everyone not to go here either!!
The staff is unconscionably rude. I work up the street and once someone behind the desk had been kind enough to call me when it was almost my turn so I could leave work and not sit in the hall for 2 hours. I thought that was really nice. I asked today if we could do the same thing. They told me to come now because there was no wait. Dr. Karakashian is a very able doctor. I do not understand why he would schedule a 8:30 am appointment if he is not going to be in the office until 8:45 am. I have observed this twice while waiting. However today was the topper. While waiting for my 8:30 am appointment (the doctor not being in yet at 8:40am) a patient walked in to the waiting room. removed cyst on arm and said biopsy was suspicious and needed to do a reincision...took my biopsy of tissue to another lab that reported normal tissue,,seems to be the way the practice operates by doing unnecessary procedures
