Dr Duvall was the rudest dentist I’ve ever came across. He insinuated that I did not come back for an extraction because I didn’t want to. I went in there this morning with an infection and a broken tooth so I have not had the money to get out. I understand the need to get the tooth out but the way he approached me and his bedside manner was terrible. Showed up early for my appointment. Completed the paperwork that I couldn’t get to open online. Sat and waited. After half an hour they told me they needed to reschedule due to a doctor going home sick. Rescheduled for a week later at the same time. Never received a confirmation text or email so called the morning of my appointment to verify. They had no record of my rescheduled appointment. 🙄
I was told a fluoride treatment was covered by my insurance then I get a bill for the treatment which I had initially declined but since it was free I received it. I liked the place until they used lying as a tactic for making money.
I recently had fillings done before we left for our PCS out of state and prior to the fillings they had not caused any issue. So After my fillings the damage that capehart did to one of them ended up with me having to have root canal that cost me 4k by another Dentist in another state for their wrong doing. I wasn't happy. I even called and went in twice before leaving and wanted to "redo" the filling which clearly was going to do nothing from what the Dentist said that did he root canal. Billing here needs work. I called to have my card charged to take care of my bill (which was twice as much as they quoted me) and since I was using care credit the girl that I was speaking to didn’t “know how” to charge it so she was going to have someone else do it and call me back with any issues. They never called back so I thought it was all taken care of until I got a letter from collections in the mail. Now they won’t return my phone calls AGAIN. I left a message and still no call back.
My dentist there was wonderful, she is out on maternity leave and I had to see another dentist. His bedside manner was terrible he refused to do part of the work scheduled because it would take to long so I had to take more time off of work to go back. Today I went in because I wanted to make a payment on my account (it is on an auto plan, but I wanted to switch cards) their billing person was very abrupt with me and stated that this is the only time I would be allowed to do this as it “was a lot of work for her”. Receptionists are too busy to greet you. They have called to cancel my appointment twice because they couldn’t accommodate me anymore. Too much hassle it seems.
