I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Riber. He is the most compassionate, caring doctor I have ever gone to. The best part is that he was able to make my terrible pain go away! He spent time with me explaining my diagnosis and what to expect from my treatment. I have sent numerous friends to Dr. Riber and they were able to avoid back surgery because of his help.Staff was friendly and caring as well.
Dr Riber is well worth the wait! I have suffered from chronic pain for many years and have been from dr to dr trying to find someone to help me live comfortably with the pain that I have each and every day. Until meeting with Dr Riber today, I truly thought that I was just going to be miserable for the rest of my life. After leaving his office my world has changed for the better! If you get to talk to the dr youre lucky. He is always busy and he does help! The staff on the other hand is horrible! You can wait up to a week for a returned call. And the staff gives you wrong info & when you need to see the dr for pain & need note for work they tell you to call your family dr for an excuse but under workers comp claims you have to get it from him. I have been seeing Dr Riber for approximately 7 years after having failed back surgery. I was told by the surgeon he didm't know why I hurt. Dr Riber did sveral procedures that I did not respond to. It was a long time before I would consider anything stronger than Tylenol for pain. He is extremely caring & compassionate esspecially when there are no procedures he can do that will help you. I would recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Riber is an excellent doctor!! He spends the time that is required with each patient so that is why you may have to wait, but it is worth getting someone who will not spend a couple of minutes and then dart out to the next patient. He has helped me tremendously!! I have chronic leg pain and he did not stop until I was helped. I will never see another Pain management doctor! He is a real blessing!
Dr. Riber tried several different methods to discover the cause of the pain I had in my hips,lower back and down my legs, including doing nerve testing on me. He found I had disc degeneration in my lumbar spine (lower spine) and ended up doing an in house laser disc decompression (which doesn't hurt at all) and haven't had any trouble with that part of my back since. Though now that I have new pains in other areas (I have lupus and Fibromyalgia)and I may consider going back to see him to see what else he can find to help me ... read more
I have been in Dr. Riber's care since my failed back surgery in 2006, and he has been very helpful. He has always looked for ways to minimize the amount of madication required to make me as comfortable as possible. Mine has been a very difficult case, and Dr. Riber refuses to "give-up", and insists that we will lower the pain level.Thanks Dr. R for all your help! I highly reccomend him.
Wow! I am glad I did not check this site BEFORE seeing this physician - I might have missed a wonderful healing experience. Dr. Riber immediately got rid of my low back pain! I was pain free before I returned to my home! His staff was courteous, helpful, and VERY professional. He ordered a couple of diagnostic tests - MRI and Nerve Conduction Velocity study - to assess the source of my trouble. My wife is seen by Dr. Riber and absolutely loves him! I have spoken with him on many occasions and I don't believe there is another doctor out there that cares more about his patients wellbeing. His waiting room is always full for one reason, because the demand for his service is extremely high. People don't continue to see a physician that they aren't happy with and they line up for Dr. Riber. I would bet that he see's hundreds or thousands of patients and to only have four not happy is pretty good in my book.
