I had a dentist who was very detailed in his work and prided himself on his extensive knowledge, but when I had a problem from a procedure and asked him about it, he denied knowing anything about the issue (my tongue went numb for six months after getting a shot of anesthetic from him). I found a lot online on the subject, and a lot of how dentists sometimes don't want to accept responsibility because of overly litigious culture. My seven year-old daughter had a cavity and I was so nervous for her to go through the process of getting it filled. Everyone from the receptionist, to the dentist to the hygienist was so supportive and helpful. Everything was explained to her during the process in a way that she could understand, and she felt great about it. I am very satisfied with every aspect of my visit and dental treatment at the Modestow practice. This is an excellent dental practice with friendly staff and state of the art equipment (for instance, they can make crowns on the spot) and an experienced, meticulous, talented dentist (Dr Schiffman in my case). I especially like how Dr Schiffman took some optical photo's and was able to show me clearly what was going on in my mouth.
