They are a great bunch of people. Professional and friendly. Dr Pappas is good at what he does and uses the most up to date equipment. I was greeted warmly by the office administrator and was seen immediately. My cleaning went well. The dentist fit me in that day to do some unexpected fillings. Everyone is very friendly there and share helpful advice about dental care. As always, the staff was friendly and professional. Laura was very good about telling me what she was going to do in each step of the cleaning process. My only comment is that she didn't tell me when she needed me to open my mouth wider. Instead, it seemed as though she used her tools to gently nudge my mouth open wider. I was in on Wednesday, November 15th to prepare a molar for a crown. Apparently a cavity was found and it took Dr. Pappas a while to get rid of the decay. I am glad it was taken care of, but I have been in pain for four days and didn't expect that. The swelling on the side of my face has gone down, but the pain is still throbbing. I hope as time goes on it subsides and I can feel comfortable but for now it feels debilitating. I usually don't have as much pain after a procedure. The service was great. Pain was very minimal. The only thing I had an issue with is, because I have never had a cavity before, I am unaware as to how much pain to expect afterward. A paper describing any after effects and things to watch out for would be good. Or even the dentist telling me what to expect over the next day or two. Is pain likely?
