I came in for the beginnings of a crown. Previous dentist experience wasn't so great, this one however was. Dr. Shiftman was wonderful. She and her staff gave me information and quelled some fears. It was a long procedure but it was painless. I can't even feel my temporary crown! I will be going back soon to get the real one. Had to be exposed to two sets of panoramic x-rays since the first set had to be repeated for some reason. Otherwise typically good cleaning and exam. From the friendly greeting on entering to the helpful chairside assistant my visit started on a positive note. This continued through Dr, Modestow's exam and recommendations. My daughter had her first cavity and went to the dentist today. She was extremely upset just walking in the door. She is 10 and of course all of her friends told her horror stories about getting a filling. We had also planned on getting sealants today as well. (One stop shopping!). Our appointment, my and my son's, started on time and were completed in a timely fashion. Our hygienists did a thorough cleaning and Dr. Schifman did a complete exam, addressed our issues, answered our questions and made apropriate and useful recommendations for our personal needs.
