Dr. Dua, PA del Buono, and the office staff are always pleasant, and have taken care of my knee problem for many years.
This winter I completely ruptured an Achilles tendon, a painful and debilitating injury. Dr. Dua discussed treatment options with me, and we decided on surgery; I’m extremely glad I did so. The surgery went smoothly, with no problems or complications, and excellent postop pain management. His office was helpful in make a referral for physical therapy, which proved to be very useful in expediting my recovery. Dr. Dua was thorough and professional at all times. I’m most grateful to him, and I recommend him highly.
I am elderly and have never had surgery. Dr. Dua was recommended for my recent hip analysis and replacement. The entire experience, through initial consultation, surgery, and post-operative requirements, has been superlative in all ways. Dr. Dua and his associates were attentive and professional in all respects. All of my questions and concerns were answered immediately with clarity. I highly commend him and his staff for a very successful medical experience.
Dr Dua assessed my nagging running issues as a hip issue. X-rays revealed that my cartilage was half its thickness. I was able to wait 2.5 years before I had to have it done. Dr Dua and his PA Christin DelBuono answered all my questions and I felt very prepared. I walked into the bone and joint institute in Hartford at 6am and literally walked out that evening at 5:30pm (slowly). My recovery has gone extremely well. In conjunction with doing my PT I was able to exercise, ski etc. within weeks!
What sets Dr Dua and his staff apart from any other doctors office I’ve been to is the fact that they will recognize me instantly instead of having to look at a chart. I am an individual to him and as such I am not just another file. He does his best to suit my personal needs. He’s an amazing Dr. with that human touch.
Dr. Dua is the best and I am so happy that my primary physician recommended him. I needed a total hip and 2 other orthopedic surgeons declined to operate because I had a BMI of over 40. I was in a lot of pain and becoming more dependent on my husband and children. Dr. Dua explained what I needed to do. He was encouraging and very honest. I felt confident in his ability. It took a year to lose the weight . I had the surgery and felt instant relief from nagging pain. Dr. Dua gave me my life back.
I'm writing another review because I in my first one I didn't say how much that I appreciated all the great help that I got from everyone in Dr. Dua's office and especially Christen his PA.. Christen was just amazing as was Dr.Dua. Thank you all for all your expertise. I'll be doing my other knee next year.
Went to Dr Dua for a workers comp injury. Excellent Doctor. He has a wonderful staff that works with him also. I would recommend him to to anyone who needs an orthopedic surgeon.
Dr. Dua and his staff, including Christin Del Buono PA have been excellent throughout my visits and hospitalizations. Dr. Dua and his team at Manchester Hospital were exceptional throughout the whole process. Cannot say enough positive remarks.
