I scheduled an appointment that was originally scheduled for January and then rescheduled for October after "telemed appointments" were opened up. None of which I had any problems with. On the day of my visit, the wait was nearly 45 minutes. Due to this, I did not have time to choose eyewear. As a former employee of this establishment, I have some first-hand knowledge of the vision plans and the options available to patients. We have always loved the service at North Country Optical up until the last few months. Complete change in staff and attitude. If you are looking for condescending, abrasive conversation - be sure to speak with the present lady selling frames.
I was told right of the bat that I would be taken care of. I explained the issue with the last place and again reassured that I would be taken care of. Well 3 set comes in And can't use the reading portion. The woman's response was we aren't going to make any . great just great. Never recommend
Make appointment for son 2 weeks ago. Receptionist takes insurance info. And says eye exam is covered. Arrive for exam, receptionist says sign here and here so we can bill insurance company. 20 minutes later doctor tells me I owe 68.00. Insurance won't cover this, he had exam last year. I do not appreciate being mislead about being covered when clearly it was not. I could have used the prescription from last year if I had known! Oh well, ya got me for 68.00. The last money you will get from me.
