Helped with my kid issues , medication works fast , She was kind and understanding .Very much Recommend her.
Since being referred to Grasmere Services by my Primary Care @ Northwell Health I had feelings of depression and anxiety with hopelessness in my elder years, She spoke to me at length along with pre screening aids and has been treating me over 6 months. I'm a new man with different outlook on my future.
Dr. Ancona is a knowledgeable psychiatrist and gives her best to her patients.
Dr. Katz is wonderful.
As a young student with issues with scheduling due to classes and other responsibilities, office was very difficult to navigate. Was also told monthly appointments were needed due to insurance and after calling the insurance company that turned out to not be true.
I would not recommend Dr. Ancona to any patient looking for treatment of mental illness. She lacks empathy for the patient and proceeded to complain about office staff during my visit. She also kept reminding me of 15 minutes during our session. My opinion- find another person who is actually professional and seeks to help instead of be cold, rude, and abrasive.
Unfortunately for almost two months I have been waiting access for my own medical records. Unacceptable and unlawful.
Called the office, having a really hard time coping...the priority of the moment was my copays and me filling out a credit card authorization form. What if wanted to give my copays in cash? What if I don't have a credit card?...This Anna person couldn't care less..... You would think, especially now with Covid, that they may have wanted to actually help someone who is in a mental crisis. I found them on Psychology today...be careful with this place, I never even got the chance to see the doc and get some help
I was in crisis and my original Psychiatrist was out for the day. I came into her office hysterically crying. Dr. Ancona showed lack of empathy and reminded me that we only had a 15 minute visit. She was cold and was more worried about getting the appt over with. She did not help me at all and I felt worse after leaving her office
