Dr. Shapiro is an outstanding professional who helped me get back on my feet after a Ballroom Dancing injury. He knows how important DanceSport was to me and he found the treatment options that helped me get back to my sport as fast as possible. The visit to his office was fast, efficient and courteous. Dr. Shapiro is a popular doctor, and despite the fact that people were waiting to see him, the wait wasn't long, and yet he was not rushed during our appointment and answer all my questions!
Dr. Shapiro shows no sense of empathy or awareness that there is a unique human being attached to the foot. Instead of listening, he insults, condescends, and treats an adult patient like a naughty child who needs to be scolded. When he thought I was not relaxed enough as he measured my feet for orthodics, he patronizingly said, 'You're a stiff person. EnJOY your life.' Did he really think that was going to help to relax me? I will never again come to this rude doctor. And do not recommend him to anybody.
A rude, obnoxious jerk. Made a 10yo patient wait for over an hour before coming into the room to be crass and inappropriately sarcastic and advise her to continue dancing if you want to screw yourself up some more. Unbelievable that people like that are allowed to practice. Dirty stuffy office, front desk staff allowed everyone that came in after us go first.
