Our dog had a peritectal fistula and was prescribed some meds here (ketoconazole, atopica). As he was having negative secondary effects, I asked Dr. Gelman several times if a prescribed food, a raw food or even handmade recipe could improve this. The answer was always negative, so I trusted the Dr and we continued with the pills. Months later I decided to change to Yorkville clinic and on the first visit they changed his food (hills w/d) and the problem was solved within 2 days. Amazing treatment of a rather sick dog of ours. A good deal of time spent at reception and in the room with her veterinarian and support. Maisie was not doing well at all but now seems to slowly get better. In addition to the amazing people working there, the vet’s office is unique! Not a scratch, chip nor dirt anywhere. And everyone is absolutely wonderful to work with!!
My pets have been treated by three different vets and all have been truly wonderful. They're friendly, knowledgeable and take the time to explain everything. They put my pets' health and comfort first and never apply pressure to run unnecessary tests. I appreciate their caring attitude and practical approach to treatment.
The vets and support staff are very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Very great to work with for my pets' health. They are very supportive and provide suggestions for preventative care which is really important to me so we're not having to treat bigger issues down the road.
I'm absolutely THRILLED with this vet clinic! I've been bringing my fur babies here for years, and I'm still blown away by the exceptional care they receive. The staff is compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about "furry-babies" care. They take the time to explain everything, answer all my questions, and make sure my pups feel comfortable and relaxed. I couldn't imagine a better clinic!
