Everyone at the front desk was welcoming and made me feel more confident entering the building. I really like the way the dental hygienist cleans my teeth and they don’t go to great lengths just to make sure I don’t feel any pain while they’re cleaning my teeth. She was very polite and knew exactly which part of my tooth she was going to treat. Overall, it’s was a great doctor visit.
Terrible customer service! I have very good insurance and after some routine dentistry work they send me a big bill. My insurance company told me they've been trying to reach the Commack Smilist location for them to send additional information but no one is reaching back out or sending it. I've called them for the last 1.5 years trying to get them to send information but keep getting the "we'll look into it and reach back out" but not once did they call me back, I've had to call every time and get the same runaround. Somewhat of a new customer I have always gone to small dentist office, never a chain dentist office until now. But the Smilist has been great so far they do a great job not just on cleanings but I just had a crown done they use the latest technology with a scanner to get crown to fit right and perfect color shade match. Dr. Brandon Katz is amazing. He is a highly skilled surgeon and has an excellent bedside manner. His staff were kind and efficient. Debbie made scheduling my procedure a breeze. I highly recommend Dr. Katz and his team.
It took me 2 months to book a cleaning. I went in after 20 texts to come early 9 am the staff refused to clean my teeth Tried to shake me down for a deep cleaning for over 100.i reported them to my insurance company and I'm hiring a lawyer It's against the law to refuse a cleaning with insurance. I worked for the dentist of the jets ..They actually charged my husband 30 bucks for a perio consult..And 30 for a Floride he didn't ask for...
