I’ve been going to him since he had this other practice the Peds. When he had the other practice his staff was more proactive, returned calls, and they were more involved! His new practice the Doc’s is not even close! My son has had a change of insurance and we’ve been waiting approval for his medication for at least 2 months now! I keep calling and nobody returns my calls. I’m so disappointed! And what’s worse is that my son has been without his medication. Those people don’t care their patients!
This used to be a great office - Dr. Dewan was amazing. The last year it has went down hill to the point I now will be filing a complaint with the medical board due to this office compromising my daughters care. They pulled a "bait and switch" changing my daughters appointment to another doctor on the day of the schedule appointment and did not notify us. Dr. Dewan an amazing Dr. I can't stand his staff! They NEVER return calls! I left a message with the pharmacist once and it wasn't until 3 days later that I went into the office that I got any kind of answe, no opology what so ever, my daughters pharmacy for her growth hormones has been faxing them paperwork for 3 months now and still have not received anything back, so every time I refill it I have them resend the paperwork. Scheduled an appointment 3 months ago, the sooner appointment they had, today, finally, we showed up to the office, checked in, receptionist asked for ID and ins card, after 5 minutes she came to talk to me just to tell me that they don't have a dr today!! 😡....She told me that they try to contact me to reschedule, I have no missed calls, voicemails, text messages, anything that show that they try to contact me, I had to drive 30 minutes to get there just for nothing!!! I would love to give the DR. a ZERO!! He give you a phone number to call if you need anything, I called in a prescription on a Monday to my pharmacist, They tell me that we need to fax the dr to get some more refills. Well it's been 6 days and I go into the pharmacy to pick up my prescription and as usually the dr's office never responded to the 3 faxes that they sent them.
