This was my first visit since Dr. Jacobson semi-retired so I was worried about the changeover. The professional, courteous, and friendly staff made me feel like an honored guest. My new hygenist was wonderful and took special care for sensitive teeth. I forget to get her name, though. Dr. Hadi impressed me. Always such a pleasant experience. Cindy and Krishna greet you with a smile. Dr Hadi and Dr. Jacobson are patient and gentle and explain the procedure throughout, always checking in to make sure you are doing good. Debra is the best assistant, thorough and always anticipating what you need before you have to ask. Thank you for keeping my teeth healthy.

I was visiting Thunder Bay recently. My husband started having pain in his tooth. I called around looking for an urgent appointment with a dentist . My relatives that I visited insisted that I try Serene Dental and see Dr. Shawn Hadi. I called their office to make an urgent appointment. I was told that there was no appointments available that week but the receptionist said that she will run it by Dr. Hadi and would call me back either way. Growing up i had severe dental anxiety that i would shake while being in the dentist chair. I struggle with mental health problems that my oral hygiene was greatly affected and I was very self conscious about returning to the dentist as i felt ashamed. I have been a patient of Dr P Jacobsen for several years and have always had a positive experience. I have significant issues seeing a dentist and everyone on staff is amazing and have calmed my fears while providing excellent care. With the changes of having Dr Hadi taking over the practice and Dr Peter Jacobsen being an associate, the dental practise is true to their name “Serene Dental”. Amazing staff and caring! Very professional with a heart!!
