First time to this business. They seem to be very polite and thorough. I go back tomorrow to get prepared for a crown. I went to a different dentist last year and they found one cavity, but they didn’t do as many X-rays. This doctor seems to have found 5 cavities or the start of decay issues. Going with the crown first and will still have to pay out of pocket some and will probably have to wait on the others until next year. Not real happy with this new insurance company , but that’s my dilemma not there’s.
While temporarily living on Pine Island I had a dental emergency. I called the office on Monday and spoke with staff for an appointment the next day. I arrived for my appointment at 1:30 and learned the internet was down & the staff hadn’t printed off a schedule the night before; which by the way is standard procedure for most medical offices who understand the business of scheduling and healthcare. Riverdale Dental on Pine Island is a great location. Staff are very competent and friendly. Would highly recommend!
I went in today for a root canal. Scared as usual, but soon realized Dr Boogaard is very very trustworthy. He made sure my tooth was quite ready for the procedure and gave me lots of Novocaine, checking as he worked that I was comfortable. Yes! Was I comfortable! Bless his heart, he was marvelous. I've sat in dentist chairs on two continents more than most. I thought nobody could match Dr Marcus Sherry, who retired. Yup! Dr Boogaard is a match!!
