If I could give a zero or negative review, I would. This place is so unprofessional!! Came in for a root canal evaluation, the X-rays taking session was awful. They had no patience for me and made me feel awful through the whole experience. Once that was done I was sent to the front to wait. I noticed one of the girls was giving me a once over as if I did her wrong. When she noticed me noticing her, she gave me the biggest fake smile. I’m very disappointed with my recent experiences at Oxnard Dental Group, especially with the dental doctor and front desk manager, Odalis. My family and I have been patients here since we were toddlers, even at their previous location, so this was upsetting. On Nov 28, the dental clinic explained that Medi-Cal does not cover broken teeth and only covers cavities and fillings, which resulted in me paying $50 for a “desensitizing resin” to repair a tooth (something unnecessary to use that many doctors do not use). I had my wisdom teeth removed here and had a great experience. The staff were very welcoming, from the front office staff to the dental assistants in the back. The doctor was very patient and helpful when answering my questions and concerns. The assistants also provided good aftercare and showed a lot of consideration. I would definitely recommend it!

I had a hard time getting an appointment here because this is one of the only places that takes CenCal for like 100 miles, but once I got in everything was amazing. I had my wisdom teeth removed, and I had 2 impacted teeth. I had an IV sedation I believe, and it took them a few pokes (maybe 3-4) to get it in a comfortable and safe position, but I did not mind because they were ensuring my safety for being asleep. I came in today to get my wisdom teeth extracted. First off, I was extremely nervous (I was getting 3 teeth removed), but the Dentist and his assistant were very kind and reassuring. I wish I could remember their names but my experience from the beginning was great. The receptionist was welcoming and the procedure was almost pain-free; except for the numbing part. The procedure ended quickly and I felt that I was treated well. Thank you for your excellent and kind service!
