I’m very disappointed with my recent experiences at Oxnard Dental Group, especially with the dental doctor and front desk manager, Odalis. My family and I have been patients here since we were toddlers, even at their previous location, so this was upsetting. On Nov 28, the dental clinic explained that Medi-Cal does not cover broken teeth and only covers cavities and fillings, which resulted in me paying $50 for a “desensitizing resin” to repair a tooth (something unnecessary to use that many doctors do not use). All they care about is money they refused to give me general cleaning which is what I’m paying for because they forcefully wanted me to do the deep cleaning. What a great healthcare provider.

I had my wisdom teeth removed here and had a great experience. The staff were very welcoming, from the front office staff to the dental assistants in the back. The doctor was very patient and helpful when answering my questions and concerns. The assistants also provided good aftercare and showed a lot of consideration. I would definitely recommend it!

I had a hard time getting an appointment here because this is one of the only places that takes CenCal for like 100 miles, but once I got in everything was amazing. I had my wisdom teeth removed, and I had 2 impacted teeth. I had an IV sedation I believe, and it took them a few pokes (maybe 3-4) to get it in a comfortable and safe position, but I did not mind because they were ensuring my safety for being asleep. Really nice office, my experience was not. Recently had my wisdom teeth removed, the process was very rushed as they were behind on schedule, really bad pain afterwards, I wasn’t given any pain medication just probiotics and they mentioned they couldn’t do anything after calling in regards. Hope for this not to happen to anyone else.
