I am adding my voice to the chorus of stellar reviews that Brion has already received. First of all, his optical shop is so beautiful, with an array of attractive glasses. In the 60 years I have been wearing glasses, I have never received the high level of care and attention that Brion provides. Optique Elegance is a delight from the moment you walk through the front door to the time you exit with a beautiful, well-crafted pair of eyeglasses. The shop is owned and run by Brion Shapiro who is very knowledgeable and accommodating. I was concerned about finding a new optician after a recent move to Poughkeepsie. Brion immediately put my mind at ease. This is a first-rate shop.

I have been wearing glasses for 60 years and I have never had such an excellent experience. The way I was measured for my progressive lenses was done with perfection. I’ve been wearing eyeglasses for six decades. Brion Shapiro at Optique Elegance provided by far the best optical experience I’ve ever had. My new glasses are gorgeous and my vision is now crystal clear, a year after cataract surgery left my sight blurry. His selection of high-end frames is amazing—you won’t find more beautiful face jewelry anywhere, or a better fitting experience.
