Went there today for the first time. The staff was nice. They weren’t excited to be at work, but both ladies were super sweet. I had Doc Tom. And he was very kind and had some great recommendations. He was kind to the kids as well. I would recommend to anyone. It’s very low key and great if you don’t like high energy and/or fake customer service. The baby even had fun.
In late April my husband had an eye exam with the doctor and from that point on, the administrative employees had poor response. Will never return to this location. The University Location is where we purchased our glasses and are very happy with their responsiveness.
I wish there was a way to give negative stars. The staff is just plain rude and ignorant. Got an appointment for 1pm - didn't see the doctor till 2:25. The doctor was rude and condescending. I asked for contact lenses exam - I have been wearing contacts for 15 years and he just said -its extra money and gave me prescription for glasses only. Save your insurance for a better place. Trully one of the worst eye places I have ever been to
My experience started one week ago end of day Friday 03/29/24 end of long work week-had 4pm appt to get eye exam and much needed glasses. The store was busy and there was two young people managing customers. One was Avery-he was from the Fort Charlotte store helping out. He was very patient and professional with the customers. Only one person working at this location and no eye doctors are available for 3+ weeks. So they took my prescription from MY OPTOMETRIST and said they would have to measure my eyes for the new lenses, and could only do that with the eye doctor. Well repeated calls going totally unanswered, then some calls going to call-on-hold music for 12 min before saying that their office is closed.
