I called to make an appointment, but the person at the front desk claimed they couldn't find my insurance. When I suggested bringing my insurance card with me, she said that’s not how it works and wouldn't make an appointment. I called another office right after, and they were able to verify my insurance and schedule an appointment within 10 minutes. I usually do not leave reviews, but as a business owner myself, I thought this might be something you'd want to know.
Dr. Horowitz is a fantastic doctor - he is a very caring physician & I have been coming here since I was 13 years old, I'm now 18 but he cares & will go step-by-step with you & answer any questions that you may have. This doctor really cares about his patients & I can't thank him enough for the work that he does for the people both in & out of Carrollwood.
0313/2024 at 8:40 am I approached the door at the store and a male employee rushed to lock door and turn his back. The opening time is 9 am I understand but there is no need to have a nasty attitude. All I wanted was to ask about a 4 weeks waiting on an answer about my son glasses frame . Yes you heard right! . A waiting of a month for a simple call. I have use there services for many years and I noticed how lost and unprofessional is their staff at this particular location.
This was by far the smoothest experience I have had with 1-Eye Exam,2-Picking frames and lenses and 3-sitting down with Michael and placing my order for 1 pair of trifocals and 1 pair of Sunglasses. Michael was helping out on Friday Dec.22,2023. Michael was very thorough explaining everything included with my order. I felt that I was informed about everything with my order. When my doctor told me to get an eye exam, I found that most of my family uses this location and are happy with the results. I now see why that is. I was greeted as soon as I came through the door and everything was set in motion. Heidy was my guide and it was a brisk paced tour de optics with 3 different exams and the eyeglass ordering process.
