My daughter (12) was diagnosed with a very large aggressive tumor on her lower jaw that required her to have jaw reconstruction after removing it. She had a fibula free flap under the microscope to reconstruct her jaw. Despite the long surgery (about 12hrs) and some of the physical changes, her recovery has been amazing.
