He has a great personality. Liked him as soon as he started talking to me. I felt very confident in his diagnosis.
I recently had appointment with Dr. Joseph Tarantino in his Howard beach office. Every time i go to Dr. Tarantino office and i am always satisfied with his service. My appointment was at 4:30 pm and they called me inside the office at 4:25 pm and i was like wow...they called me inside the office 5 minutes before my appointment time. My doctor is very pleasant, always smiling and not only that he fixed my foot, very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. He always stays top my treatment. thx
Very busy office but very accommodating. His medical assistant was so sweet and great with my little one who saw the doctor. Dr Tarantino was very knowledgeable and kind throughout the visit. His warm demeanor not only calmed my child but my worried self. Would definitely recommend him!
Worst podiatrist in Howard beach Queens. Horrible bed side manners. They make you wait in a office filled with his wife’s patience “she is a general doctor treating people for the flu” he needs to get his own office and stop being so cheap. I needed a insert which he had made for me but would not release it. He kept saying it needed to be cut. He did not cut it or do anything. Always shows care and concern
I have seen Dr. Tarantino on multiple occasions for my foot problems. Dr. Tarantino has always taken care of my problems in a quick and effective fashion. His office staff is courteous and available. I have referred members of my family to Dr. Tarantino and has always taken good care of them.
I was misdiagnosed and given a cortisone shot which made my condition worse...if a podiatrist suspects planters fasciitis the shot should be administered with the aid of ultrasound.. I found this out from a podiatrist who was referred to me by a friend of mine's mother. I went to Dr.Tarantino out of convenience...I live close...BIG mistake. I have an appointment with an ultrasound podiatrist Tuesday to pinpoint whether it is tarsal tunnel or possibly the bone spurs that are causing the pain...
A month after my appointment with Dr. Tarantino I am still contacting him regarding my prescription and a customized foot insole. Needless to say I have not gotten my prescription or any information regarding my customized foot insole. His office doesn't answer any of my phone calls nor do they return my calls. My worst experience ever.
