I can’t say enough amazing things about Joppa Family Dentistry! Dr. Oh and Ms. Alicia are absolutely wonderful — friendly, professional, and they truly care about their patients. As someone with ADHD and sensory processing challenges, the dentist’s office has always been tough for me, but here I feel completely comfortable. Ms. Alicia is so patient and kind ,she did my cleaning in a way that worked for me, and even took the time to educate me about the importance of flossing. Because of her, I’m now a daily flosser! Today was my first appointment with Joppa Family Dentistry, and I have no idea why I waited so long to check them out! I’ve lived in the area my entire life, but it wasn’t until I realized that driving all the way to Parkville for my old dentist was a bit much that I decided to give them a try — and I’m so glad I did. From the very first call, everyone was kind, helpful, and welcoming. I genuinely felt cared for the entire time. Highly recommend!

I called the office, because I thought I had a cavity. Or a filling felt out a previous dentist had filled. Within a week I had an appointment scheduled. One of my sons missed his 6 months appointment, and I was able to schedule him with me. Dr. Shapiro is wonderful!! He took 1 look and was able to get the cavity fixed right then and there. I’ve ALWAYS had a bad experience at the dentist so I simple stop going. I needed my wisdom tooth pulled because I was in so much pain. I was able to get a quick appt. Dr. Shapiro was the BEST! He explained everything to me regarding my teeth and the service I needed, he even informed me of my out of pocket expense before he did any service. While pulling my tooth he constantly made sure I was ok! It’s been a few hours since my extraction and I have no pain! This was just a great experience!!!
