I just had an appt this morning to have 2 teeth pulled. This was my first time here and they were fantastic. Very straightforward, no hassle, barely had to wait at all. I also have no dental insurance at the moment and they were upfront about the costs before I had anything done. The pricing was also very reasonable and it ended up costing me less than the estimate. I can’t say enough amazing things about Joppa Family Dentistry! Dr. Oh and Ms. Alicia are absolutely wonderful — friendly, professional, and they truly care about their patients. As someone with ADHD and sensory processing challenges, the dentist’s office has always been tough for me, but here I feel completely comfortable. Ms. Alicia is so patient and kind ,she did my cleaning in a way that worked for me, and even took the time to educate me about the importance of flossing. Because of her, I’m now a daily flosser! Pleasant visits every time! It starts as soon as you walk through the door and are always given a warm welcome by Gina. I hadn’t gone to the dentist in a very long time and had trepidation to do so. Who wants to hear the questions and get grilled about that, right? None of that at Joppa Dental. Special shout-out to Alycia. She has been nothing short of fantastic. Today was my first appointment with Joppa Family Dentistry, and I have no idea why I waited so long to check them out! I’ve lived in the area my entire life, but it wasn’t until I realized that driving all the way to Parkville for my old dentist was a bit much that I decided to give them a try — and I’m so glad I did. From the very first call, everyone was kind, helpful, and welcoming. I genuinely felt cared for the entire time. Highly recommend!

I’ve ALWAYS had a bad experience at the dentist so I simple stop going. I needed my wisdom tooth pulled because I was in so much pain. I was able to get a quick appt. Dr. Shapiro was the BEST! He explained everything to me regarding my teeth and the service I needed, he even informed me of my out of pocket expense before he did any service. While pulling my tooth he constantly made sure I was ok! It’s been a few hours since my extraction and I have no pain! This was just a great experience!!!
