There is no better doctor than Dr. Tzvi Bar-David! Dr. Bar-David performed my first bunion surgery for me 2 years ago, and I was so satisfied I went ahead and did my second surgery now, with him. After decades of having bunions and years of difficulty finding shoes, I had 2 bunion surgeries this year, a few months apart. The first time I had little pain; the second time I had some pain but it was controlled well by the prescribed meds. A few weeks after the surgeries I was able to go swimming, I have recovered almost all of my feet's flexibility, and I enjoy putting sandals on my "new" feet. He came very highly recommended as "one of the best" by a friend in the health care profession, but I was very disappointed. I don't doubt he is "one of the best", but he wasn't with me. A technician took x-rays before Dr. Bar-David saw me. He asked what my problem was, how long the problem/pain had been going on and never made eye contact. He glanced at the x-rays, never looked at my foot, made a pronouncement about what it wasn't (broken) and what it was (arthritis). Doctor Tzvi Bar-David deformed my foot. It was supposed to be an easy surgery to fix my toe but instead, I ended up with a chronic pain and deformity. My foot will never look normal and I will never be PAIN FREE. At some point, the toe became so inflamed that I had to rush to Hospital for Special Surgery during Covid-19 pandemic. I am awaiting another surgery.
