I am 78 yrs. old -- still have my own teeth (no plates, etc) When I called Dr. Modestow's office and told the receptionist that while flossing my teeth (a few minutes ago) the filling in my front tooth broke off leaving one third of my front tooth gone. She immediately gave me the first appointment available for the following day (none of the doctors were in that particular day) Dr. M took one look at the tooth and immediately started to repair it--explaining every step of the way as he worked on the tooth. I was very nervous about the procedure I needed to have today but everything went smoothly and I had no pain at all. The staff at Modestow Family Dentistry are warm, welcoming and reassuring - it's the most unique dental experience I've ever had. I'm a scaredy-cat when it comes to dental visits - but I never ever get anxious about going for these visits. Kate is a great hygienist and Dr. Ian is great - smart, caring, and knowledgeable in up-to-the-minute modern dentistry. Having a tooth extracted is not typically a pleasurable experience, that being said, the staff is warm and friendly,I was seen at my scheduled time, Dr. Modesto is easy going and puts his patients at ease.
