My family have been fans of 5th Ave Dental for 15 years. However, within the last 2 years, they have declined significantly, specifically with booking and keeping appointments. I've had appointments cancelled the day before the appointment and no available rescheduling dates for months. My son needed his wisdom teeth removed and they had no availability and were unwilling to even refer us to another oral surgeon because our insurance didn't require a referral. Dr. Sam(his nickname) really took the time to listen and explained everything he was doing. He showed me all the points of my CBCT scan. He didn't feel I needed any further work at this time and said we should adopt a wait and see approach. I really appreciate that in a Doctor. The front office staff and all the technicians I encountered were very friendly. If it's a first visit there is a fair amount of paperwork and available print space is small. I’ve been trying to schedule an appointment for myself and children for the past 4 days. I work in the area and it’s super convenient for me to utilize this dental office. Numerous occasions the receptionist hanged up the phone in the midst of scheduling and claims “bad connection”. I’m disappointed because I was referred to this office by a coworker who comes here. Poor customer service.

I was a patient for over 20 years even though many people that I have recommended have complained and have not been satisfied and have left. I knew George and was always so nice and accommodating. There are very few dentist or hygienist that I can complain about but now management there has been absolutely awful. Honestly, now that I’m thinking of it these people are so rude and mean. One of the first times I went there there was a person who was cleaning my teeth, and she was so mean to me. Treated me like a child. I told her to pause because she was cleaning a pepper flake out of my gum and she kept going over and over again in the same spot with a metal hook.
