I was really apprehensive for weeks waiting for my implant procedure. After investigating this procedure the more I learned the more I feared it. Gum cutting, drilling a hole in my lower jaw bone then screwing in a post finally recovery swelling. Well, the day of execution came I found myself in the dental chair and waited for the assault but to my amazement their was none. It was less painful then a tooth extraction! To top it off, no swelling at all . Either Dr. Shrestha is a magician or simply a master dentist.
Dr. Shrestha is absolutely THE BEST dentist I have ever visited! I am super sensitive to heat, cold and pain. I have had numerous dentists that could not perform as promised. I had stopped going to dentists because of the pain and fear. Dr Shrestha and Mercedes his hygienist has changed my feelings about going to the dentist. He is such a pleasure, it's more like visiting a good, dear friend, listening to great music and before you know it the beautiful work is done. Never be afraid again.
Very competent doctor with very professional attitude. I had a crown put in and it fit perfectly the first time. In the past with another dentist, for some reason the crown never seemed to fit properly and had to be sent back to lab resulting in aggravating delays and additional office visits.
I was a longtime patient of Dr. Shrestha's predecessor, Dr. Madhani, so when Dr. Madhani retired, I was apprehensive of being treated by someone new. However, my experience with Dr. Shrestha has been very positive. He is a competent dentist who takes the time to explain his approach with his clients. I recently needed to have a rather large filling in a tooth, and I never even felt the novocaine being applied! Can't complain about a painless trip to a dentist!
I have worked for many dentists and Dr Shrestha was everything a good dentist should be! He was clean, caring, a technical genius, and up-to-date with the latest developments. Even though I have worked for other dentists since working for him (he eft to open his own practice), I continue to use him as my own dentist and I take my entire children to see him. He is a man that you can trust with your family's health & teeth. He's extremely conscientious. PS I also worked for an oral surgeon and sometimes wisdom teeth give you p... read more
I went to see this dentist for a routine cleaning/check up. The receptionist was very nice, as was the hygenist. The hygenist was wonderfully gentle-I barely felt anything. The dentist is very kind, but I do not believe in having teeth-especially wisdom teeth-extracted unneccessarily, and that is what he believes in. My prior dentist does not believe in this, but had become too far a commute. If you don't have a problem with what I mentioned, he may be a good choice for you. I already have another dentist I plan to see.
