I had my L4–5 and L5–S1 TFESI lumbar steroid injections on Monday. My Sis drove me to the clinic, and we arrived at 11:30am as I was advised to be there by 12pm. After making the payment and completing the paperwork, we were told we could wait either inside the room or outside — we chose to wait outside. 30 minutes passed… then 1 hour… then almost 2 hours. I would first like to start off by saying that Dr. Hayashi is a doctor I would highly recommend. I have experienced chronic back pain for years, stemming from a work injury in 2009. The pain significantly worsened after a car accident in 2020, which re-triggered my back issues. I have known since 2009 that I will eventually need surgery to fully address my back problems. Well, It's been 1.5 years since Dr. Fontes replaced my right hip. Can't thank Dr. Fontes enough including all of his staff and Dr. Zarndt for her great knowledge and advice. I was within 3 weeks of not being to walk any longer. Dr. Fontes and staff took care of that and I'm now pain free, limp free, and using my hip as if nothing ever happened. Everyone was very professional and cordial the moment I walked into the door. Dr. Amesur was absolutely the best. Great bedside manner which is rare these days. I highly recommend Dr. Yuichiro Hayashi. He truly takes the time to listen to his patients and ensures they feel heard and understood. His compassionate approach and ability to validate your concerns make a real difference. I’ve had two spinal injections performed by him—both were nearly painless and, thankfully, very successful. His expertise and care are exceptional.
