Well, It's been 1.5 years since Dr. Fontes replaced my right hip. Can't thank Dr. Fontes enough including all of his staff and Dr. Zarndt for her great knowledge and advice. I was within 3 weeks of not being to walk any longer. Dr. Fontes and staff took care of that and I'm now pain free, limp free, and using my hip as if nothing ever happened. Overall I had a great experience. Dr Fontes & His assistant Michael Trang. I was so satisfied with my 2 TKR. My right knee surgery was done at Parkway Surgery Center. I would rate the staff there 100% so caring and organized. Mostly recommended. My left knee was done at Desert Orthopaedic Surgery Center. I was dissapointed at the admission staff there were so unprepared. I give them a rating of 4 out of 10. This rating has nothing to do with the Doctor & surgery team. Everyone was very professional and cordial the moment I walked into the door. Dr. Amesur was absolutely the best. Great bedside manner which is rare these days. He was very thorough in explaining my condition. I finally have a diagnosis and ready to move forward. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. See you in six weeks.
Dr. Anesur, DO performed only a brief physical exam before diagnosing my issue. I had to mention my CT image reports on possible lesions that I believe are cause of the pain I have, and request an MRI to confirm his diagnosis. Neither of which he asked for or offered respectively. He did perform a trigger point injection to help ease my pain, only after I requested it, which is a better approach than relying on pain meds as a quick fix. Not too impressed with him.
My first time seeing Dr. Amesur. Very nice. Explained everything to me. Made me feel less afraid. Very knowledgeable. I was extremely happy and impressed.
