Shannon, We would like to apologize again that you had to witness our encounter with the impolite patient who tried to purchase “not for resale” trial contact lenses from us. We do not participate in the illegal and unethical sale of trial lenses provided to us by the manufacturer at no cost; therefore, we felt obligated to defend ourselves when she accused us of selling trial lenses to her in the past. I made an appointment with Dr Le for contacts and glasses. I went in and the appointment went well. It was in the waiting room that everything blew up. Another customer came in and said she needed to purchase another set of contact lenses. The customer was very polite until the Dr and the assistant talked to her very condescendingly. The office manager was incredibly rude to me, and so I just cancelled appointments for myself and my two children. the frustrating this is that causes far more disruption for me, than it does for Brilliant Eye Care, but I do not need to be treated like an idiot by anyone. I called back this morning to confirm our three appointments, and asked about the contact lenses fitting fee.
