I am giving one star review before visiting this place. I have an appointment today at 4:00 PM. Someone named Jennifer called me today morning trying to confirm my dental insurance details as I accidentally gave them health insurance details before. I told Jennifer that let me grab my dental insurance card to which she shouted at me over the call stating that if I don’t have insurance then I can make a payment from my pocket! I love Dr. Lapena! She is phenomenal with my young boys, one of whom was scared of dentist appointments. They're now 14 and nearly 12 and very comfortable with the dentist, the chair, cleaning and whole visit. They were also great when I had a real emergency with one of my boys injuring his month and teeth from running into a table. Really reassured him and myself. They don't get scared nor annoyed whenever I remind them of their cleaning appointments now. Thumbs up!
Excellent care with my autistic 7 year old daughter that was referred and needed work done . They met her for the first time , did the exam and X-rays they needed , and were able to also accommodate the treatment . I understand that probably can’t always happen , very dependent on their schedule , but I’m so blessed to have found this practice . Highly recommend !
My 3.5 year old with autism son is a wild beast at the dentist but they really did great with being patient with him and trying to be flexible on different ways to make the experience better. Would recommend to anyone. The office is also nice and clean.
I’ve been taking my kids to this practice since they were very small. We’ve moved away and I still drive the 45 min for their cleanings and care. I was a bit surprised to see a sign stating that 6 years and older could not be accompanied by a parent any more. I don’t think my kids felt comfortable till 8-9 years. I would never leave my kid alone at 6 years. You might want to revisit that new policy.
