I went to the TMS Health Center in Englewood for an assessment and met with their Neurologist. The appointment included three hours of testing, but they were incredibly thorough and took the time to figure out what was going on. They discovered I have inflammation of the labyrinth (inner ear), likely caused by a virus, which explains the lightheadedness and vertigo I’ve been experiencing. Have been going to doctors since I was little and no one was ever able to figure out what was wrong, I was told I just had anxiety and to do therapy, I was told everyone gets motion sickness, multiple misdiagnosis, etc. it got to the point I thought there was nothing I could do and I would always feel sick and anxious but going to see the specialists at the Balance and Dizziness Center was the first time I felt like someone understood and could help me. A truly exceptionally positive experience from beginning to the end of my visit. No wait time at all after my arrival. All staff are responsive, caring, very communicative, knowledgeable and totally professional in all test procedures and interactions. I have been looking for answers to vertigo for 10-15 years. Pretty much immediately they knew what was wrong. The CEO is an amazing diagnostician and knows what she is doing. Plus she is compassionate and kind. Highly recommend. Eta: I originally gave a 5 star review but I can’t in good conscience let people think the neurologist is a great doc. He is abrupt. He raises his voice. He speaks over you when you try to ask a question. I had this experience twice with him and would never go back to him. Ever.

I had a truly wonderful experience with Dr. Galina today. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and cared for. She took the time to really listen to me, addressed all of my concerns with patience and compassion, and made me feel genuinely supported. It's rare to feel so heard and understood during a medical visit, and I’m very grateful for her thoughtful and professional care. Highly recommend Dr. Galina to anyone looking for a doctor who truly cares!
